A NETWORKED consulting model

In the age of collaboration it is not rational for consulting companies to base their KPIs on resource utilization. Poseidon KPIs are instead based solely on customer success and satisfaction.

What does this mean?

  • Our pricing is not based on bench strength as we are able to mobilize resources at short notice without maintaining bench strength. Our customers benefit from the cost savings.
  • We have a global network of best of breed platform partners and subject matter experts. Our customer are able to accesses expert advice at a reasonable price.

Good design and detailed specifications help deliver the desired results in a predictable manner while substantially reducing project costs, implementation times and minimizing risk. In the current environment of fast evolving business needs, complex system interactions and agile development, we help minimize project risk by delivering predictable business outcomes.

We advocate a two phased approach for engagement, Solutions Architecture and Solutions Development. We work with stakeholders to help articulate problems and outcomes followed by design of agnostic solution options. This is then followed by technology selection and process design.

We diligently work across the stakeholder groups to ensure that the right solution option is delivered maintaining traceability with the design and preserving business value through the life of the project. Once the solutions and specifications have been defined, the client then has a choice of implementing it through us OR issuing it for open tender.

  • Delivering results, we will measure our performance with facts. Even good organizations often rely on assumptions, leaps of abstraction and questionable data to make decisions. We will create an effective information system to measure performance by:

Ensure that right frameworks are selected and appropriately applied throughout the project life cycle

  • Developing a balanced scorecard based on agreed KPI measures
  • Communicating performance on key measures to those who can use the information to improve
  • Understanding the cause and effect relationship of key measures
  • Aligning measures and analysis with goals and strategies
  • Whether legacy systems are involved or new technologies such as digitization, cloud implementations, big data or mobile there is no substitute for analysis and a structured approach to solutions architecture.
